The video was on youtube, but looks like it was removed. I watched just before lunch yesterday and after seeing it, I could not eat. AMAZING to find out that he had very minor injuries and was relaesed from the hospital the next day. If I was him, I would quit racing and play the lottery! It reminded of the old sprint and midgets when they flipped and the guys flew out of the cars. |

talked to someone who was there- he did not have the latch fully snapped on the lap belt and they all came off |

That was definitely some SCARY STUFF!! My son and I were watching when it happened but FLO did not show that footage, didn't see it until the next day. As a father of a QM racer I will definitely triple check that lap belt before every race, then check it again. Glad this kid didn't get hurt too bad, the man upstairs was lookin out for him!! |

Good idea stanton327 - also be sure his arm restraints are routed in such a way that they can't get behind the latch and pop them open. Also instill in him that if his belts ever come undone - STOP !! immediately. Most tracks will give you your spot back if you tell them what happened |
