Cool pictures,

I remember the night Parker (modified) & Eddie (sportsman) won the features on the same night. Richie Archers sportsman was one of my favorites. Who was in the 90 Gremlin ? The only 90 I recall was Bob Ormsbee and I don't think he had a Gremlin. I guess the picture of Richie was at TD. Who was the 24 ?

The 24 was Wayne Turner from Long Island. When I was around 11/12 years old my brother rented a shop with Wayne for their race cars.  Spent a lot of nights/days at that shop.  Wayne was a good guy.  Low budget, made it work.

I remember he went to Pocono (on the big track) and came in and said...OMG this car is going to vibrate apart.  Had no business racing on that size track with his equipment. LOL.  If I remember correctly, the motor blew up.  What a shocker but guess what?  He had FUN.  Something that was easier to do back then.

Not sure who the 90 Gremlin was, but seeing the M&H Racemasters on it,

it was probably a New Engand car. That type of wreck is usually a stuck throttle. Looking at that hood, I bet it had something to do with it.

WOW , KEV --thanks an awful lot !! meant a lot, man!!

hair went up on thr back of my neck watching the '74 turkey derby--bob emmons & harry treacy were very, very much a part of who i am -- also, another close friend , who i met as a kid , was jack ely sr , another moment of neck hair raising when i saw  the #81 mullaney tire pinto in the race !!!-THANK YOU SOOO MUCH !!!- YOU ARE GOOD PEOPLE !!

( I ran the '74 turkey derby in my modern #73 65 chevelle  -- froze my ass off that night !! lol !!)

also , 1/2 right on john baker - he and frank malle brought the #08 from bob & harry and that became the #23 modern stock falcon-body ,  on the #08  frame & chassis !!

As a kid, I seem to remember the T2 had a silver hood. Also, I thought maybe it was a sportsman when Tony drove it. I was 8 in '74 and my Father started racing in '73.

It was an Atlantic City sportsman car they ran against the Mods at Wall and did pretty good considering the horsepower loss of a 318 (?) or maybe a 330.

Yes that was the night Parker & Eddie won the features. I had a feeling the 90 was a invader likely at a TD.
