It's hard to believe that Billy Pauch Sr's. racing career is over. It seems only like yesterday we were watching him race in the rookie division at Flemington. I was there the night Billy got the chance to ride in his first modified thanks to Jerry Verona and Jack McCabe. The car had a bad motor in it and was smoking quite a bit, but....   I'll let you read the full story below. As always, please share any stories if you were there. I'm still thinking that maybe he'll get bored and come back out of retirement for a race or two.
