To be honest, I want to go back to the early days when a marching band came out at half time. This new stuff takes away from the game and is usually not a very good show anyway. |

Hey Rick, As a Giant fan, this pains me to say this, but I believe the Eagles will pull it off. I also believe the band the Eagles could pull off a halftime time. Everyone knows the Eagles songs. |

Even if it's someone decent, they just do some kind of medley that ruins the good songs. Since I get up early, I jump in the shower during half time. |

The last half time show I watched was Super Bowl 33 (1/31/1999). "You wanted the best, you got the best! The greatest band in the land, KISS!" From then on, I've switched channels at half time to watch anything else. Also, is it me or are a good number of the Super Bowl commericals dumb, and a waster of money? I guess the half time shows and commercials are 2 more things in life that "have passed me by". Scott Ely |

Have to disagree. Just watched the best Super Bowl halftime. 2009, Bruce and the E Street Band. 13 minutes of rock and roll, plus Big Man was still alive. |

For years, I said a marching band, just as HS & college. Could be one of the great ones like USC, Michigan or Ohio State who usually do quite a performance besides plahying...... |
