Mousey Kempster in 1st photo ? 2nd photo , Can't believe USAC champ cars are running on this track with the walls in that condition . If I remember correctly Jerry Freid had to install inside walls on the 1 1/8 mile before they would run there .

It's not marked, but I think the #3A might be George Idell Sr. at East Windsor.

First photo is not Mousey Kempster. I have the Kempster Family Photos and Mousey never had a car like that.

Not certain due to the condition of the wall but if the three Silver Crown pictures are from Syracuse in July 1978, the 55 is Will Cagle, the 98 is Gary Bettenhausen, the 56 is Jim McElreath, the 22 is Roger Rager, the 66 is Steve Cannon.

I agree with Joe that the 3A is George Idell.  I know he ran limited sportsman at Windsor.  What kind of motor/ injection system is in the #55 sprinter?  Scott Ely

#55 not a sprint car, it's a Champ Dirt Car, [Silver Crown] with a Ford DOHC Indy Car engine.

These, like the other N. Ivins images, were scanned from negatives, and there is no date/driver info, so it's up to you guys to figure out, and hopefully have some fun in the process.

Thanks for the additional information as I will use it when I add the images to the main site.
