Neat picture.

I only got to the big dirt track at Nazareth (which was a different configuration than above, right?) for my 8th(?) birthday present to watch the USAC Stocks.  That would have been summer of 1968 if I have the right birthday.

I also went there to watch a combo show on the paved configuration of USAC Siver Crown and Indycars on what might have been the 2nd to last time Indycars raced there.

Correct Joe. The original track had a longer straight after the dog leg. Lindy eliminated the sharper radius "Rooster Tail Turn" and approx 1/8 mile of the track. Replaced with the wider radius and uphill turn which also shortened the back stretch.
