These are from the late 60's/early 70's.  Hopefully you folks with programs or a photographic memory can provide the driver info so they can be posted in the Nelson Ivins Section in the main site:

#16 Gary Bettenhausen?

#18 Johnny Rutherford?

#94 Rick Muther?  (#6 Bobby Unser)

Mario Andretti?  Joe Leonard?  other?

Looks like a Foyt owned car - Maybe George Snyder?

Here's what I've come up with:

Pic 1: Mario 1971.  Pic 2: Charles Masters 1969.  Pic 3: 12 Gordon Johncock, 11 Jigger Sirois 1969.  Pic 4: Gary Bettenhausen 1971.  Pic 5: 18 Johnny Rutherford 1971.  Pic 6: 94 Johnny Parsons, 6 Bobby Unser 1972.  Pic 7: inside is Al Unser, middle is Mario, outside is Mark Donohue from 1972.  Pic 8: 82 Roger McCluskey from 1969.

Would appreciate any corrections from fellow Indy car junkies!

I agee on all of them.  The #5 McNamarra, and the Parnelli in the other photo may be the worst cars Mario ever drove.  But wait,,,,, the next year's Parnelli and the "Honker" Can Am car were pretty bad too.

Maybe Art Pollard?  Let me know if anyone knows for sure.  Thanks.

Looks like Pollard, doesn't it?. He drove the STP 57 in the September race at Trenton...but Greg Weld drove that 57 in the July Indy car race there. Hmmm

Agree with Jack that it's Pollard or Weld from 1969. Weld finished 8th in July race, Pollard finished 14th in September race. With billowing smoke I would have thought that one of the two would have been classified as DNF. Thickness of raised arm leads me to believe it was Pollard although helmet design could be that of Weld's from pictures in Dick Wallen's 1960s book.

My first thought was Pollard.  He finished 64 [?] laps down probably from the smoking engine.

Here's a few more that I am looking to add to the Nelson Ivins page in the main site.  Looking for definite ID's so that I can add them.  Thanks in advance.

(It was offered earlier that this might be Chuck Booth.)

Results of both 1968 Langhorne races show Vuky in the 98. Interesting to note that Bruce Walkup ran Ken Brenn's #88 Gerhardt chassis car in both races.

Sad that USAC did not mandate roll cages for Indy Cars for 1970. They would have been approx 50 years ahead of the times, and just might have saved a lot of injuries and fatalities.

Greg, that photo is from 1970, Bobby Unser is in the Wagner Lockheed Eagle.  He won that day.  Rick Muther is in the 54, Walkup in the 98 and it looks like Al Unser behind Bobby in the Johnny Lightning car.  Bobby only drove with the Wagner Lockheed money in '70.  1968 he would have been in the Rislone Eagle

My error, I agree with you 100% on all IDs. I can now see Al Unser's car, that is telltale sign that it is the 1970 race, which turned out to be the final Indy car race at Langhorne. Thanks for the correction.

The best part of all those photos,,,,,,,,,,they are all Americans, and except for Dick Simon and Rick Muther all came up driving sprint cars and midgets.
