Since we have some Eagles Fans... Some Giants Fans... and maybe some who are neither, but who tuned in for the game, or for the commercials, or the half time show.... feel free to add your comments about Sunday's Superbowl event.

The fix was in; bogus holding call against Phila. The refs could call that penalty every down if they want to.

I kinda live in Eagles territory, but also really like the Chiefs, but I shut the TV off at that point.  They'll take 4 minutes and about 10 commercials to confirm whether or not somebody's foot stayed in bounds or not, or if the ball was spotted correctly, but we're all supposed to look the other way (nothing to see here folks) when an obvious incorrect game impacting call is made.  I'm curious if the Giants or Dallas fans think that was a good call, and/or should just be chalked up as just "part of the game."

To be fair, the calls for defensive pass interferance/defensive holding have been totally inconsistent all year long for many teams, and it is an issue that should have been addressed long before inside 2 minutes of what is supposed to be the year's most important game.

As a Giants fan watching the last 3 playoff games, there were plenty of bad calls. The Holding penalty was very questionable last night. That did impact how the game ended. If it was not called, would the Eagles have enough time to come back? We will never know. One rule I agree with is when a coach challenges a call, if they are wrong they lose a time-out.

One another note at least it's not like a certain track in NJ, that has to review every yellow flag to determine the running position of the last-place car ;>)

It's called HD TV and replays.  You can't win.

The Eagles blew a 10 point lead but it's an officials fault they lost the game. Like the old Dire Straits song says, When you point your finger cuz your plan fell through, You got three more fingers pointing back at you

-One play does not make/break a game.

-One call does not make/break a game.

-replay needs to be eliminated from all sports. Coaches make mistakes, players make mistakes, officials make mistakes. deal with it.(besides it wastes my time!)

-areas that really hurt the Eagles:
   -Blown double digit lead
   -No second half D

-notice I did not include the Hurts fumble(one play does not make/break game)

I watched a total of 3 NFL games this year: Bengals/Chiefs playoff, Eagles/49ers playoff, and the Superbowl.  And all three games reinforced the thing that drives me crazy "is it a catch or isn't it a catch".  A guy can come down on the corner marker clearly not in the end zone and that is a touchdown, so why can't a ruling be made on a catch without having the Wizzard in NY review it.  I believe replay review of official calls on the field has ruined both NFL and MLB.

I know a lot of people are upset with the one call. Like some of said don't let one call deside the out come. One thing that they never showed was the referee's angle. What was it? It might change some opinions or it might not. We are all human and see things differently .

Unfortunately the officials affect the outcome of too many games / events.  Jack Hewitt said it best in his historic rant about putting on the shirt that says "authority".

Defensive coordinator Gannon should have changed his game plan in the second half. The defensive linemen weren't getting penetration and weren't getting to the quaterback should have blitzed more but I don't think he has that anywhere in his game plan.
