These are a few photos of the models that I've built of Budd Olsen's famed "0", and of the Gerry Chamberlain, Joe Bullock 3 window coupe and although, in my opinion, not as nice or with as much detail as the builds of Stew Stratton and others, I think I've captured the personality of these hot rods that I watched in my teens. The Olson "0" was built completely from parts obtained from Big Donkey Resins. The Bullock 76 was originally an AMT Tobias/ 34 Ford coupe built by my cousin. He gave it and I then re worked the body to what you see. Hope you 3Widers enjoy these photos. I have other models to photograph. Scott Ely

Thanks Steve, and to everyone that felt I did these 2 iconic hot rods justice. And yes, the decals are from Polecat Decals. I believe Mikes Decals has taken over Big Donkey Resins. They offer most of the stuff that Big Donkey listed, but not everything. I'm still having problems finding a suppler of fuel injected motors and headers. Scott Ely |
