Pretty sure it was the Chrysler Spitfire six cylinder. Dad loved his Mopars! Thanks for asking.

Sorry, forgot to answer all of your questions...they primarily ran Wall, Pleasantville and occasionally Grandview with that car. I don't remember any trips to Windsor with that car, but it's always possible they did.

Steve-  I believe this is Bob McCollough's #89.  Bob would later go on to drive the Al Whitehouse # 90.  He would also work for Al and Lynn at their business, MJ Grove Plumbing & Heating.  Scott Ely

Yes it is Scott. Bob is my uncle. The 89 cars he drove until 1970 were owned by my father.

I'll check, but I don't think I have any. Someone (I think it was Tom McAndrews) posted a picture in the message vault quite a few years ago of Bob in this car and Al Whitehouse in his #51 Ford coupe racing into the 3rd turn at Pleasantville.

Steve -  was Bob McCollough driving your fathers car when he won the first asphalt race at Mahoning Valley speedway?

I don't believe so, but my brother would know for sure because he was most likely there. He usually monitors the board, but if he doesn't see this, I'll ask and get back to you.
