Vegas, or St Pete... Which did you watch, and or which did you enjoy more.

For Flo Watchers, you could add Lincoln, Florence, other?

I'll just say that for the Vegas race, with Clint "Like I said before" Boyer in the booth with guest analyst Danica Patrick, the only way I considered watching was to DVR it and then start playing it right about when I figured the live event was over.  Keeping one finger on the fast forward button and thanks to the great advise offered here on the board by mdracer, another finger on the mute button, I think it took all of about 20 minutes to FF through it, and I'm pretty sure that I didn't miss anything significant.

As for Indycars at St Pete, I thought it was a very exciting race, as was qualifying.  Not a fan of Scott McLaughin's move into Romain Grosjean.  Reminded me of the move that Newgarden did to Grosjean at Nashville last year in a similar deperation move.  At least they did penalize McLaughlin this time, but still was a bad deal for Grosjean who's car was too damaged to continue.

i missed the Flo coverage of Lincoln but did see a highlight of the sprint feature. Exciting..

St Pete. To me Indy car is the most exciting closed circuit racing in the world. And the racers don’t mind mixing it up. The cars are scary fast And nimble. I think the drivers have more balls then Spaulding. I saw three races at Richmond and if you were lucky enough to see them you know what I’m talking about.

The Vegas race literally put me to sleep. The three Hendrick cars were spot on. While it creates dull racing you have to give credit to those who show up that prepared to kick tail. Not all races can be barn burners.Byron deserved the win.

The NASCAR race was a dud. I found myself wondering if a year of gathering data on the new car has brought things back to where they were before and the faults of the 1.5 mile tracks are again exposed. I was doing some things whils the St. Pete race was on but was still following along. The storyline kept changing which is good. A little too "crashy" but it's a narrow circuit so it gets crowded at times. Theres a video going around that shows McLaughlin and Grosjean chatting at the DHL hauler after the race. Hugs and handshakes between the two drivers which is cool to see. Good on Scott for physically going to Grosjean to talk things over rather than posting a "Sorry bro" tweet on Monday. I know a guy who works inside Penske and he says McLaughlin is the coolest driver of the bunch there. Danica did wear those faux leather pants well. I will say that much about the Vegas race.

Sounds like I missed a good Indy Car race since I didn't watch it.   Sounds like I didn't miss anything since I didn't watch the cup race.  I agree with DVRing the nascar races, which I did for both the Trucks and Xfinity.  Because they are shorter races than their big brothers, I don't fast forward as much with the trucks.  It takes me about an 1 1/2 hours to watch must cup races.  Never liked NBC nascar broadcast crew but am starting dislike Fox as well.  Too much talk about nothing.  If I hear "The yellow line is not out of bounds here" I thin I'm gonna....!  I got to take Mr. Eyres' suggestion, pull the trigger and get Flo Racing.  Scott Ely

Scott, buy it this week. It's very simple to use. From this week out you will reach race overload. Hagerstown will be on it.  You can watch live or anytime you want. Catch up and watch some stuff from the past.

If you don't like it, cancel it. $12 a month!  One subscription will work on EVERY device you own!  I prefer the Firestick for TV watching.

Fox is terrible.Time for Mike Joy to retire. He makes to many mistakes with drivers names and tends to react slowly to action on the track.Harvick will be a definite improvement but Bowyer needs to go.Would like to see either Adam Alexander or the great Alan Bestwick take over play by play.Better off listening to MRN with the tv volume off

I love my Indycar races although street races leave me cringing as tight confines and tire marbles all too often impact true racing efforts, strategy of teams. 27 cars are full time on the circuits this year. Several "racing incidents," some over-zealous passing attempts were the stories of the day. Pato O'Ward's engine blip cost him the race late in the event although winner Marcus Ericsson was strong all day.  Romain Grosjean and Scott McLaughlin were the strongest all day until they tangled late in the race. Next race is on the oval in Texas on April 2.
