Must have been a real treat for an old timer retired somewhere picking up his Hemmings and reading that article. Any older fan I used to meet that only went to the Wall once in awhile, always asked me if that guy Parker Bohn was still around. They all remembered Parker and the flames. Parker was one of Wall Stadiums most popular drivers of all time, if not the most popular.

I picked up Hoosier racing tires at Mr. Skinners factory in Hammonton.  I had the honor of being in that famous garage.  The tires were stored in the upstairs portion of the factory.  I have not been by there in several years.  I was told that the buiding burnt down.

When I raced my modern in the 70's and early 80's, I bought my tires from Tom at the factory in Hammonton. He was a super nice person he was very complimentary and I got a lot of good advice from Tom. The photo looks like a recent photo and they still are using chains instead of straps to tie the car down I also still use chains to tie my car down when I take it to the Pumpkin Run.

I see the truck has the blue NJ plates.  I thought my mother was the only person in NJ who still had those plates.
