I have it on a someday-maybe list to go to the South Boston speedway.  Got close once and still want to get there someday soon.  I bring this up after seeing a promo about the track's history on NASCAR.com.

As an aside, this photo (https://www.nascar.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/7/2023/03/15/2021-07-04-SouthBostonSpeedway-04793-Victor-Newman-Photo-782x520.jpg) is from NASCAR.com, in a feature that is promoting the track.

You would not find me sitting behind that simple fence; nope no way.  I'll be in the grandstands somewhere.

Don't blame you! Those people would never have the time to react if a car got airborne. 

Reminds me of being at Rolling Wheels for Super Dirt week, when someone in the stands was hit with a rub rail.
