I was just reminded that 30 years ago we lost Alan Kawicki in a plane crash in Tennesse. Can't believe it is 30 years ago . I always wondered how many championships Sr. would have won had we not lost Alan, Davey, and Tim. I don't think it would have been seven. We will never know. |

Tough few years with Tim Richmond, Davey Allison, Rob Moroso, and Alan Kulwicki, all non racing related in a four year period. There is the possibility of a dozen championships amongst them. |

Just came down the road where Robbie had his wreck , its a bad turn. I think about him every time I go down that road . A real shame. |

I'm pretty sure I know where young Mr. Moroso had his crash. We go down that way from time to time. I've been told that stretch was altered some time afterwards. I don't know how true that is , but yeah that's still a tricky bend in the road. Even sober. |
