Great photos!  Waiting to see more pics of the "Kevin Eyres" asphalt hot rods on 3Wide.  Everyone knows that he tried harder.  Scott Ely

There's a few Springsteel Fabrication bodies in that group.

Who were the owners of the 15? I remember them at the shop.

Ralph and Judy Critelli.  Codi Critelli races a four cylinder at Wall and is their grandson. Good kid!

Funny story; I was running my sportsman in 1983 and was asked to drive Louie Rapones sportsman car in a practice to see what I felt. Car was a big Mustang II hatchback body that I think was once Maynard Troyers big track car. A real load.  Some how Louie was related, maybe step son, to Dave Nagel/Nagel Ford, one of Maynards longtime sponsors.  I go into turn one after a few laps and I had put my hat around the shifter, it starts to fly off, so I reach down to grab it, missed the corner a little bit, while the 15 of Bob Cranmer was outside me. We hit, he spins. Bob is tough as could be, chases me through the pits to kill me. Luckily I got away! He still snares at me to this day. LOL

Do you remember Bob running across the infield at NES to punch a guy? I called him sluggo, and my Father told him.
We had Louie's mustang in the shop. It had nice emron paint and said Bystander Racing on the nose.  My Father built him a chassis. I never knew if it actually ever got finished by anyone.

Thanks, never really sure where that car came from. Now I remember I drove it for Buddy not Louie.

It was a handful.

Even cooler, I got to drive a former Charlie Kremer Jr. car!
