Just to be clear Paintman, or you saying Larson was cheating or the #6 Team that he drove for in the race was cheating?

Nothing personal, but I just can't watch the guy on the video (I tried yesterday when you linked to him earlier about something else that you wanted us to hear what he had to say on and got about 30 seconds in and decided I had enough), but if you did watch his video, let me know if the conclusion is that "Larson" was cheating as your subject line says, or was the team cheating, or both.

I'm with you, Joe. The guy is a hater (and I hate that phrase, lol), looking to increase his viewership. Prove it then shoot your mouth off.

So what ? I watched the clip, so what? To cheat ya gotts break a rule, what rule did he cheat on and how?  The drama queen Podcaster has nothing but drama & hot air, no facts.

While I'm on my soapbox .... The Podcaster shows in his clip a rough comparison between F1 suspension and he implies Larson's car has this too. But he has no video of Larson's suspension, he just makes the claim, odious or not. But lacking any facts.   Now the average person of common intelligence can look at certain known facts and come to but one conclusion. And that conclusion would be that F1 cars use engine oil, Larson's car is using engine oil, therefore the kid's stock car would probably would have beat a F1 car Wednesday night too.

Ok to answer the question of cheating or innovating? If his car did in fact move that much and he didn't blow a LR then we have a problem. We have to be careful when watching a video on the internet in my opinion. It's not the best quality and it could have been doctored. I'm pretty sure the real story will come out no matter cheating or not. I'm not choosing until we know more.

This guy on You tube kinda bugs me.  As I recall Larson finished the race with a flat left rear.  The car settled on the flat LR when he stopped.

The video was before the race started as the cars were comin out on to the track for the feature line up. If you pay attention to the 6 car and the 49 car they both appear to have more left rear “hike “ when at speed...

Well, i guess i certainly stirred the pot. my only point was.......whenever someone is caught cheating in NASCAR you guys are the first ones to pounce on not only the team but also the driver. Just to be clear I'm a huge Larson fan. But my point of video was to show just how sneaky all of racing has become with the advent of technology nothing more. This is clearly how these teams are getting around the droop rule. Raise the nose before your droop is measured then whan you get out on the track drop the right front.

So let me put the question to you this way..........If your allowed to have adjustable shocks on the car is it really cheating if your car passes the droop rule prior to going out on the track, but once the race starts you can drop the right front to raise the droop?

I thought the droop rule is checked after the race not before. Most of the races where there's a disqualification it's usually after the event not before.

he has a hard-on for Larson for some reason and uses Larson for clickbait.

he's a loser and a nobody in my opinion

when Larson and Sweet started the High Limit series he caught a ton of flak because he was saying Sweet and Larson "are doing it wrong", like he has some experience or something

he's walking a fine line slandering Larson with his accusations and may find himself in court

The droop rule is checked after the race. Droop is controlled by a metal Chain attached to the frame and the rear tube. Even with adjustable shocks, the chain can't be changed to allow for more movement.

Opinions are like, well you guys know, we all have one.  BUT the problem is, with social media, everyone has an avenue to share it with the world.  Doesn't matter if one's opinion is backed up by fact, or not.  I did see one guy say he felt Larson's car raised up due to the "rebound" built into the shock.  Don't know if the rebound thing is legal or not.  I'm no expert but it made sense to me.  Scott Ely
