I recorded it and just watched, last night. Decent race, but the stands looked empty.

It used to be that someone had to die for tickets to become available for Bristol.  Now they can't give the tickets away.  The crowd Sunday was pitiful, imo.  Lots of empty seats even with all the lower levels blocked off.  And the NASCAR supporters are blaming it on Easter weekend.  Just another example of the state of NASCAR today.  It's not a pretty picture.

I won't even watch it because it's become so bad. Sad.

I think the weather had a lot to do with it also. I decided not to go to the truck race Saturday since rain was in the forecast all week (Friday was a washout). And it was really cold after the rain cleared.

Chased away the fan base in favor of the woke cause...........the gimmick stuff didn't help either.  Support local tracks let the wokes get ripped off with Nascrap. Go woke go broke

We live a little over 2 hours from Bristol. Easy ride over the mountain. The wife wanted to go but when we learned the race was scheduled for 7pm on a Sunday night we knew we weren't going. We live a little over 2 hours away from Martinsville. The Cup race starts at 3pm this Sunday. Nope, not going there either. It starts too late in the day. They start late because TV dictates it. But they take the TV money knowing many tickets will go unsold because fans who are relatively local don't want to get home at midnight on a Sunday night.

Well here in the south Easter is way more important than Nascar . Businesses still close on sundays here so why the knuckle heads still want to race on Easter is beyond me.

I watched the last half of the Truck race Saturday night. The Best part of the race showed the side by side battles instead of following Joey L. Stew was in a good position till Ben Rhodes lost control.  The cup cars should have been racing on Saturday if they wanted a better crowd.

As far as Sunday's race I watched bits and pieces of it. I watch something else that is more entertaining. If they started the show earlier, I would have watched till the end of the race.
