Did Wayne Reutimann ever race at Flemington?

According to Bob Bachman only once for a Syracuse qualifier. Mark Fluery stuffed him (and the M1) into the frontstretch fence, they never returned.

Looking at the picture of Wayne and Buzzie sure makes you want to turn the clock back. I watched this many nights in Middletown. Both cars immaculate and all four tires on the track in the corner.

The first photo is Jake Twilley at Georgetown Speedway early 50's. Georgetown was originally called Delaware Speedway. The Twilley family has been involved with Delaware racing for many years.

I have a question for you guys. I have followed Modified racing for a lot of years, but don't know the name Red Walker or the #29A car. Does anyone know what tracks he raced at and where he was from?

Red was from Morrisville, Pa.  Car was housed in a garage across the street from Ray Neary's house. Ran mostly Flemington and East Windsor.  Always kept the cars spotless.
