Jake Trainor snookered them to win the race. He  was co-sponsored by Bentley's Saloon so I'm guessing he got some inside info on how to get the job done. It looked like Swanson's race to loose til about lap 400 when Trainor took the lead and nearly lapped the whole field. Overall this race had more cautions than any of the several races I've been to. Starting at the drop of the green when a mid pack deal took out 2 cars and then a blown engine and spin at lap 490. And yes I'll be back next year.

It was great to see the Seymour team back in victory lane...lots of history with that team. Like Gene said, it was Swanson's race until he lost power steering with about 100 laps to go. You get a feel for how physically taxing it must be when you see the 18 year old winner struggling to stand after 500 laps. I think he wanted to stand on top of the roll cage to salute the fans afterward, but wasn't stable enough to pull it off.

I have a question for anyone who was watching...what happened to Bobby Santos III? I was switching back and forth between races on Flo and missed him dropping out.

Another thing about Kody Swanson...if you haven't already seen it, watch his post race interview. You talk about a class individual...at a time when he should have been down, he chose to laud the winner and second place drivers and their teams. I wish others would emulate him. He wins with grace and loses even more graciously!
