Indycars are racing on a street course in downtown Detroit. Peacock has Friday practice at 3:00, Saturday practice at 9:05, qualifying at 1:20, Sunday warmup at 10:00.  NBC's Sunday race coverage starts at 3:00.

I'll be racing my VW Bug at the June Bug event at Maple Grove, PA. I hope it stays together!

Watching Kutztown and Georgetown on TV. Going to New Egypt on Saturday and making the 3-1/2 hour drive to Bedford on Sunday.

I will be watching USAC from Knoxville on Friday, Saturday I will be behind the lens covering the action from New Egypt Speedway, then on Sunday Indiana Midget week kicks off at Tri State Speedway on Flo and somewhere inbetween I will be opening our pool.

New Egypt Speedway Saturday night probably. Will watch parts of the Nascar race on Sunday. 

Williams Grove Friday with USACec for the Bill Gallagher Memorial. Selinsgrove Saturday with URC car. Second winged race for us this season. Allen

We moved to Paducah, Ky a few years back. My son is coming up from Memphis and we are going to a WOO late model show at the Paducah track, one of my all time favorite tracks, a high banked, fast, racy 3/8

No racing this weekend.  We'll be in Reading at the Mid Atlantic Air Museum's WWII Weekend.  My 28th year there.

After last Saturday New Egypt Speedway for sure.Sunday Nascar tv from Gateway.  See how Corey Lajoie does replacing a suspended Chase Elliott.

Will be there tomorrow. Hopefully 2 F4U Corsairs flying.

We were there today, looks like only one Bent Wing Bird this year.  Storm cell with high winds and heavy rain came through around 1:30.  blew over a sissor lift into a taxi way.  We bailed after the storm.  I feel like it's very light on attending aircraft this year unless more show up late today and tomorrow morning.

For those curious about my home made turbo street Beetle. I entered the Bug in a 1/8 mile class. I have regular street tires and it spins, a lot. But, did manage to make one 1/4 mile test pass. So, it ran a 15.46 at 86mph. I dialed a little too slow first round and broke out and lost. But, had fun, saw old friends, made new friend, and did have to work on the car. 

Little Wall/GSQMRC opening day yesterday.  My son Ryan grabbed his 1st win in quite awhile, too many 2nd place finishes to count.  Won the Heavy Honda A Main,  shown w/my Dad Larry, former sportsman racer at the big track!

Our driver said he would look for another ride if he had to wheel 3 BROWN cars!!  We still have the traditional Patterson colors alive and well on 1, the other 2 we let Henry O'Neill work his magic!!
