Well got to go to hickory sat night , haven't been in a good while as a fan. 

likes : everything , the place is full of history , yeah she is showing her age but who cares. No heats, time trials at five , racing starts at seven sharp . Five classes , trucks, street stocks , late models, limited late models, renagades. Close racing all night tow truck never moved . Three spins all night. Lot of side by side racing all night. 75 lap late model feature no yellows, two truck features that were great side by side the whole race, the rest ran 35 lap feature. good crowd no intermission, they do victory lane for the top 3 so you got time to grab something . 

Twelve buck for us old guys fourteen for adults kids are free. Started at 7 was out the gate at 9:20. Home by 9:45

go back  sure good lord willing , great night with my son on fathers day what more could I ask for .

Yeah it was a good time. I don't get to many races these days , only three in the last ten years or so but they have been some good times . Hickory is still a NASCAR track but they do have other clubs like the Cars tour and the modifieds a few times a year . If you get the chance go it's old school but kind of kool at the same time.
