Anyone watching tonight? Comments please. It's a who's who of competitors. If the first heat is any indication, it's going to be a long night.

I predicted this from the time this race was announced: gonna be a crashfest. End of feature could get ugly. My brother, uncle and gang are out there.

11:15 Yawn... They're getting ready to fire up the engines. The 50/50 was over $100 grand.

Stayed up and watched. Good show, but drawn out a little. It's one time you can really say they needed to sell every single hot dog before the feature starts! Crowd was very good, but not a Million Dollar to win crowd, if you know what I mean.  Great fanfare and 90% of the fans probably did not mind a 6 plus hour show because they stay at the track.  I'm sure many don't remember the race.

The right team won. Won't say who until Joe watches the replay!

I think I would rather see four, $250,000 to win races, so more teams have the opportunity to share in the money. It's like a $800 million to win lottery, no one person needs $800 million! Figure a system where 800 people win a million.

Now time for a nap!

Great to see Kyle Reinhardt from Neptune City, New Jersey, qualify and finish 17th. Kyle and his brother David having been coming and supporting the Matheny Christmas Party for the last 12 years!

Also Justin Whittall from Southampton made the feature finishing 16th.

I'm paying the price for that race last. I've been sleep walking at work all day, lol. The feature started at 11:45. They had a lap 20 fuel stop and a couple of major crashes, including Young Money Kyle Larsen. Have to wonder how much longer Rick Hendrick is going to allow his drivers to do this.

Kevin -

Unfortunately the race didn't live up to the hype. Few of these big money events do. Too often a $5K to win race is far more exciting than a $25K.

Kevin has my schedule down to a T.....

I watched the pre-lem events on Thursday night, and shut it off right before they began driver introductions for the A Main, and went to bed.

Made sure I didn't read anything today to let me know who won, and then when I got home from work, turned on Flo - shieded my eyes from the top of the screen where they usually have topstories/clips of who won etc., and scrolled down until I was in the replay section.

Clicked on Eldora Million Full Replay, fast forwarded up to the start of the A and watched it like it was happening live (without knowing the outcome.)  Lots of hype and an OK race.  As someone mentioned in this thread, glad to see the $'s stay somewhat local and with a grass roots team.

Now it's 10pm on Friday night and I just got done fast forwarding through the SRX deal at Stafford.  Not really into it, but probably just enough to do the same thing again next week.  I understand 100% why they are putting more current cup drivers in the show, but I really don't need to see more of Hamlin, Harvick, and I know he has some fans here on the board, but I'm totally not into the whole Clint Boyer deal, and don't need more of Joey Logano in the booth.  (He does a good job, but the whole thing seems a little too Nascar'ish.)

What's weird is that I remember the original IROC deal started out with a wide variety of Motorsports represented, but in the later years it was a bunch of mainly cup/Nascar drivers.

Would love to see some lesser known driver's get a shot, but looks like guys like Hamlin (Fed Ex) and others are bringing some $ to the table.

The most exciting race last year was when the local guy had a shot to win until Marco jumped the late race restart and they didn't call it back or penalize him because... well, because he's Marco I guess.

Don't forget Doug Koby won the first ever SRX race at Stafford in 21. After he did that, I thought the local guy would win at his home track each race. But you have to remember cars like those are very easily manipulated by the mechanics or the promotional staff. God forbid Tony Stewart looks bad in a race car!

I agree with Kevin  ... the right team won . Bobby Allen and company has been making a dollar out of 99 cents for a long time.
