HEAVY RAINS FORCE POSTPONEMENT OF HIGH LIMITS SPRINTS UNTIL TOMORROW NIGHT, WEDNESDAY JULY 26 AT GRANDVIEW, STARTING TIME 7:30 PM

BECHTELSVILLE, PA   JULY 25, 2023 . . . . . .  Heavy rain on Tuesday forced the postponement of the Rich Mar Florist High Limit Sprint Car Series powered by Levan Machine and Truck Equipment and presented by HVAC Distributors.  As scheduled, in the event of rain the show will go on Wednesday night, July 26 at Grandview Speedway.   General admission tickets will go on sale race day at the track  at 4:30 PM with race time set for 7:30 PM.  The Pit Gate will open at 2 PM

All ticket sales will be honored for tomorrow.    Advance tickets for the event are available on-line at tickethoss.com

Time trials will open the High Limit event on Wednesday night, July 26 with the current one lap track record of 11.243 set on August 23, 2018 by Aaron Reutzel will be up for grabs.  Following time trials, the 410 sprints will battle in a series of qualifying events leading up to the 40 lap feature event that will pay $23,023 to the winner, $2,000 for tenth and $1,500 just to start the main event.

Drivers already entered for this event include Kyle Larson, Rico Aberu, Aaron Ruetzel, Anthony Macri,  Danny Dietrich, Buddy Kofoid, Cory Eliason, Brent Marks, Justin Peck, Freddie Rahmer,  Kasey Kahne, Austin Bishop and Devon Borden to name just a few.

Adult tickets for this event are $40, children 6-11 $20 and children five and under will be admitted for Free.   The Pit fee is $45 and a license is not required. 

On race night,  Wednesday, July 26 the  gates will open at 4 PM for those spectators who purchased their tickets in advance.    Advance ticket holders will enter the grandstand through the Turn 1 Grandstand Gate.

Is there a refund option for those that purchased advance tickets but are unable to attend on Wednesday night ??

I wouldn't think so, but I don't know.

This example is kind of a different situation because we would have actual possession of our Daytona and Indy tickets in advance, versus some kind of a virtual transaction, but for Daytona or for the Indy 500, we bought tickets in advance with the understanding that if the race was postponed due to weather it was up to us to attend on the rescheduled date, and if we couldn't make it or choose not to go, we would have another set of never used tickets to go in the scrapbook.

In 1973, the Indy 500 wasn't run until Wednesday, and the place was about 1/4 full if that.  My dad and I waited it out and saw the race, but I don't think the other 3/4' that weren't there got a refund.

As it turns out, there is a refund option. Per Tina Rogers,

"you can get a refund on the ticket hoss app under the payment portion". Hope that helps anybody that can't make it.
