Many have a favorite driver/team, and I guess it is usually for a very popular/high-dollar team.
Are there any other (non-high dollar/popular) teams you would like to give a shout-out from today or in the past? While these teams may not win a lot (or even one race), they seem to be there every week giving it their all. These teams help make racing what it is.

#302 Falcon bodied Reddish/Orange? color Limited Sportsman EWS late 60's early 70's. Driven by Charlie Heath. The team was there every week. Never won a heat, consi, or feature. To my knowledge they only eber qualified 2 times for the feature. |

Darren McCaughey competed and won races, dedicated , and beating the best with so much less. VERY CLEAN racer...and if you weren't he "MIGHT" have let you know. But most of all if you needed any help, he was first to help his competitors. Many Saturday mornings spent scaling others race cars. When Windsor had big $ heat races, He financed his operation. |
