In October 2016 there were some pictures and posts about a purple and white '37 Ford coupe driven by Vince Conrad.  Does anyone have a picture of the trunk or know what was on the trunk?  Thanks in advance.

Pretty bad way to see the trunk!  Looked pretty violent.

Oldtimer- Don't know if this helps but Slotcar Fever has decals listed for the Vince Conrad 37 Ford coupe # 9.  The site does have a photo of the side of the car but not the trunk.  If its really important to you, the site shows a cost of $10.00 for the decals, which I'm ASSUMING would include any lettering on the trunk.  The decal is SlotCar #SCF-340-C. Here is a 1963 photo of the #9 taken by Ace Lane. I am having trouble sizing it. Maybe Joe can help. If you scroll, you can see it.

There is only the number 9 on the trunk of Vince Conrad's coupe. I seem to remember a picture in the Vault.

This guy has been pirating photos from the internet (including this site) for years to make and promote his products and refuses to stop despite numerous warnings. He was even selling decals for one of my fathers cars that had the colors of the numbers and lettering reversed. I figured that if he was that stupid, I'd just let him be Laughing

Thanks for giving all model builders a heads up.  I am aware of this guy and agree completely with you Steve.  Pirated pictures, poor quality decals and often colors wrong because he seems to be using stone age technology and printer.  If modelers want high quality decals, Mike Fasig, dba Polecat is the go-to guy.  High quality, acurate decals.  Many in his product line and he will make to order as he has done for me.

3Widers, sorry for referring Oldtimer to Slotcar Fever.  I did so as it was the only site I could find tha MIGHT have the rear trunk graphics of Vince Conrad's #9 coupe.  I have purchased decals from Slotcar and didn't use them as I found better ones at Polecat Decals.  I am also a fan of Mike Fasig's (Mr. Polecat Decal) work.  I've ordered specially made decals from Mike on 3 occasions (Kevin Eyres 21; Clyde Kelly 4; Augie Moschera/ Vic Gilbert 147).  I was very pleased with the decals he made for me as they made my builds of these cars "come to life" in 1/25th scale .  Scott Ely

Scott - No need to appologize.  I already knew about SLF.  I ordered two sets from him several years ago and learned my lesson.  Junk and I couldn't use them.  Keep modlin'.  Regards, Ray
