Sorry the poor quality of the photo of the 2023 Fonda 200 Victory Lane.  But the photo reflects the jubilance and excitement of Stewart Friesen crew member (and 3wider) Mr. Kevin Eyres and Stewie's wife Jessica.  Congratulations to Stewie on a well earned win.  If you have FLO, I highly recommend you watch the replay of the Fonda 200 as it was a very entertaining race.  Scott Ely

Stayed home from the 76'er after working around the house all day. Figured I would just watch the 200 on flo. Unfortunately, they lost me when they were still doing driver introductions at 9 p.m.  Shame on Brett Deyo!

Paintman- I agree on the driver's introduction being drawn out.  HOWEVER, the race itself was pretty darn good, especially the end of the race.  For me, only down side was a few too many cautions.  But they impact the late race pit strategies of several race teams.  Scott Ely

11 p.m. and they still had 100 laps to go. Not good for the sport or the neighbors in town. Don't matter how good the race was.

LOL.  That was a nail biter for sure.  As for the lateness, a 9pm start time is what a feature should be, especially a major race and yes, the intro is drawn out, but if you see the reactions to the fans especailly the kids, it's almost second none.

Luckily you did'nt stay up for the race because there was an hour long red flag for a huge pile up with injuries. Pretty scarey moment for Rocky Warner, luckily it was only minor.  Had my first celebration cocktail at 2am and my last when the sun came up!  lol  That was Flo is so excellent, replay follows the race immediately.

Brett pushes a show very well. Big races with big payouts need time, so they can make the money to pay out. If it was a weekly, they would'nt survive (but knowing Brett, he would). The 50/50 was 10 grand!

Should do it like Flemington did their 200. Run the last chance races in the afternoon and then start the main around 6-7 p.m.

Here's the reason the Fonda race took so long to start. After each driver high fiveing or shaking about 500 fans hands, Stew stopped and picked up this young fan over the barrier tape to take a photo. Do you think that kid was a little excited then? Hopefully he stayed up late enough to see his favorite driver win.

I watched every driver (40 of them I think) do their walk in front of the crowd.  Saw how fans interacted...  Saw how some drivers really embraced it, and how some were a little shy about it...  It doesn't matter... It's all good.

Saw a lot of fist bumps, hand shakes, and as in the picture above, some great photo opportunities/selfies, that will take on additional life as fans post them on social media.  High fan value - as important to the overall show as anything that will happen on the track throughout the course of the evening.

One of the main reasons folks come back to the track is because they have favorites, (and a few not so favorite), and they need to come back to the track to see how those favorites (and those not so favorite) do the next time out....  The walk in front of the bleachers was huge for building fan/driver, driver/fan bonds (something almost entirely lacking in every weekly short track show, and am glad to see that Brett makes time for it in his program.)

To the point raised in a post above, I would have liked to have seen the driver into/walk with the fans able to start earlier, and that is 100% up to how the show is set up, and how the events leading up to the start of the feature flow, but it was a huge part of the show, and glad it didn't get bumped.

Doing extra things like this (or something similar) can be huge for sport, and as long as those running the show plan it out so that it can be done efficiently, and as long as the drivers understand how important their role is in keeping it moving, it needs to be a part of the show.
