All four features are moved to Saturday.

Forecasts I see calls for rain on and off all Saturday, Sunday looks OK but cooler.   We will see!

The Short Track Super Series race was canceled yesterday at Afton tomorrow night. Sounds like typical fall weather up there. Good luck to Stew!

Track sux as usual, I'd rather watch paint dry.  Call me a basher, we can have different opinions but we can't have different facts

My vote is send it to Port Royal...Pretty big racey track, not the BAJA...Or build a Syracuse like track and have monthly shows...

Just run it on the asphalt next year with 10 inch wide asphalt tires. 6.5 lbs per cubic inch weight rule, no percentages on left or right side weight. Most run 4 coul suspension now, just attach the asphalt rated springs. 1/3 - 1/2 of the $ saved on track prep could be put in the purses for finishing positions 2 - 30.

Worst part of it all is, the World Racing Group drinks their own Kool-Aid. They think they are having fun and having a big party. This could be a three day show, but it's basically six because they drag it out so there's a "party"  It's pretty bad.

It was my understanding, when they tore down the fairgrounds there was some kind of a deal made the race had to stay in New York.

I know I sound like a broken record as I've mentioned this before.  Its ashame then Glenn Donnelly's 3/4 mile track was never completed.  I always thought it would have been the perfect replacement for the "moody mile".  Scott Ely

Would they ever consider moving super dirt 200 to dirt track of Charlotte?

Much like Kevin said above, the powers that be seem to be spending waaaay too much time selling "racing's biggest party" as opposed to getting a well run, terse show in the books. For example, was there realky a need to have "opening ceremonies" after having weather postpone hours upon hours of the show.....how bout just trying to get as much of the show in ?? Racing's biggest party happened organically in the 80's.....trying to remanufacture that at a different venue, 35-40 years later is an insult to anyone that actually was a part of it previously and honestly, simply falls on deaf ears to anyone that is aware when they are being hoodwinked !

I feel like a hypocrite because I've never attended since it left the mile. First thing is nothing can replace what we had in the 70's and 80's Super Dirt Weeks. As stated above " nobody had to form a party because it just happened. The magic that took place in Syracuse will never be able to be recreated. It's not just the different location but also because the week has been stretched out to long. Time trials and heats? Why do we need both? This will draw some heat on me but loose the 358 and shorten the Street Stocks to a feature only. Move to a real dirt track! My last one is a bit of a stretch but this race needs to be on a mile track. Theres a couple of them not that far away. Heck DIRT runs in Florida which is way farther. If you build it they WILL come. This is just my two cents of course. Let the guys run Kinsler Timed Injection (ok maybe not that one).

I agree AF 200%   Oswego is for supermods/pavement and maybe the tour mods..Not much else..Heats are just stupid for a BIG event.. We had some great times at Syracuse and nothing will replace it..These guys now travel the whole east coast why do they need to go to a dirt covered asphalt track during the bad weather area and time of New York..Doesnt make much sense to me.. Oh about the Injectors, yes bring them back. this is modified racing not street stocks...HtH
