how do you cancel an event that advertise rain or shine- then doesnt rain -with no rain date ?????

Join their team then you can help make the decisions.  If you own a vintage car you sure don't want to haul it in  bad weather and show it in bad weather.

not to break your wagon - but i have and drive vintage hot rods everywhere and have been to that show every year they have it - im just saying dont advertise rain or shine on your flyer then canclel the day before

Having helped park show cars for the show in year's past, and knowing a little bit about the grounds, my thinking is that those putting the show together had a raindate of Sunday planned if Saturday was not possible... meaning if it rained a little on Fri, or Sat, but grounds would be ok for Sunday, then the raindate of Sunday would work... but probably with the amount of rain received on Friday/Saturday morning, it made the grounds so saturated that there was no way to even have it on Sunday. 

It's been a great show in the past, and the fairgrounds is a great spot to have it, as long as the grounds can handle it.

most knew , but they just should have worded  it better and said due to wet grounds
