I feel like for the modifieds, Ploski would serve as the poster child for Buckley car.  I know Fusco had one too.  Curious, who else had them and how did they run?

Of all of Ploski's cars through the years, the Buckley was one of my all-time favorites. There is a shot of his car and Hearns at Syracuse that is in the top 5 for me.

I would love to see some additional shots of Fusco's car, I think I have only seen one or two over the years.

Didn't Scats Anfuso briefly have a #3 modified that was built by Buckley?

Bruce Thompson's 14T modifieds were Buckleys.  He continued that relationship on to his sprint cars as well. Ran Buck's cars for Bruce, Bev and Len.  Finally switched to Maxim chassis in 1999, and continue to run them today with grandson Mike.

I think this one that Scott drove might have been a Buckley - http://www.3widespicturevault.com/80spisc&vitals/e01.21.08_027_PUR_NAZ_0080_1.htm

I see GREGORY going down the hood and nose piece.  I don't know if that was a manufacturer or a speed shop...?

John Gregory /Gregory racing fabrication in Nazareth. He raced sprint cars and built a lot of street stock cages and also built some modified and sportsman cars.I know for sure he built a car for Freddy Sabatino, and may have also been involved with Freddy's sprint cars.

Didn't realize that the Pursell car shown might have had ties to a Buckley - that's interesting and a surprise.  It does seem through visuals to be similar in design.

If I'm not mistaken Stan came real close to winning syracuse in either 78 or 79? I know he lead a good portion of the race, and then had a shock tower break. I think he still finished in the top 5 maybe.

I know that Stan really liked the Budd Olsen built #24 coupe that he ran at the very end of the 1971 season, when he first started driving for Ken Brenn Sr.  He liked it better than the Floyd Trevis built cars he had for 1972 and part of 1973, even though he did win a bunch of features in the Trevis car(s) over that almost 2 year time period.

Mike Jablonski ran a Buckley chassis in the early '80's. He won the Bridgeport Sportsman point championship in 1980, and had a handful of wins in the car along the way. He had some modifications done over the yeras by Frank Mangone and Bobby Kasper, but the original chassis was a Buckley, and it had a live rear in it, which wasn't the norm for sportsman cars at that time.
