Got to know Kenny when he drove one of Jimmy Longs pavement mods at Flemington. Great guy. I have a question. The picture of Kenny with the 73 at Syracuse, what chassis is that?

bpletcher, that car was built from the ground up in our shop in Whippany. My father told Grant King he wanted to put a new car together so Grant gave him some idea's like the down bars from the cage. Kenny himself as well as Pete Harraka also did a lot of the work. Pretty sure Kenny did the entire body. Sorry for correcting.

Yes, i'm afraid I did. We tried everything under the sun to get it to work. Merv Treichler, Doug Wolfgang, Will Cagle also drove it but we never found anything good without the original body.

The car was restored to original and Gary Balough shows it all up and down the east coast as part of his souvenir business.

Sorry must have been senior moment. The downbar car was sold and ended up in Jack Johnsons hands. They must not have likeed it because they got rid of it as well. We recovered the bare frame from a barn above Albany back in 2001 and the last I know it is owned by Bruce Brueche who owns Criag Von Doron's #30.
