Alan won his first feature in 1975, and won at least one each year until 2022. First and last were driving 14J, for a different owner each time. An incredible accomplishment that I doubt anyone in racing has duplicated. |

I've always regarded Alan Johnson to be the best dirt modified driver to come out of New York state....Just my opinion & now you also have Matt Sheppard & Stewart Friesen... |

Saw him at several speedways across NY State, was always fast and so good at getting through traffic. Recall him having a long conversation with Bob McCreadie once at Five Mile Point 40 years ago about finding the right setup to get around the quarter mile. Think he figured it out. Definitely an amazing streak. |
