I had a random meeting with Ken one afternoon at the Philadelphia airport at one of the food courts, waiting for my flight to board.  Ken was already seated and I said a quick hello and gave my appreciation  for his work in the sport.  Very gracious... a gentleman.

The roll of announcer was just one of the many hats that Ken wore when it came to Motorsports, and he did them all very well.

My condolences to the family and friends of Ken Squier.

Sad to hear. Met him at the EMPA Convention dinner in probably 2016. Spoke to him for probably 45 minutes. Could'nt have been nicer. He was so interested in Wall Stadium and how it was doing and where it was going.  Saw him the next morning and said "Good morning Kevin".  I was blown away.  Rest in peace.

Years ago i was picking my Mother In Law up at the Newark airport and Ken was coming down the isle.  He stood there and talked to me for a while, he was coming back from Daytona and catching another plane to get home.  I think he lived in New Hampshire.  Nice man.

For me, Ken Squier set the bar for big time racing announcers.  Nice to read kind words about him.  I would probably watch more Nascar if Ken or Bob Jenkins were announcing.  Scott Ely
