My list of tracks is not nearly as lengthy as most 3Widers.  Of the tracks I've been to, my favorites, in order are: East Windsor, Flemington, Grandview, Harmony, and New Egypt (current).  I labeled New Egypt as "current" as the first race I ever attended was the 1/4 mile asphalt version of New Egypt in 1954.  Scott Ely

Our favorite tracks are the first tracks we saw our first race at.  For me it was Weissglass Speedway.  Next was Flemington but was a dirty dust bowl.  Than came East Windsor great surface.  Went to Nazareth a lot kind of two drag strips with turns connect them.  Finally Grandview at the time wild short track competition.

Would also add that I really liked Pleasantville (Atlantic City Speedway), but unfortunately, only got there twice back in the day (early 70's.)

In more recent times, I really liked Brewerton for some reason, but also only have been there a grand total of 2 times.  Liked Port Royal on my one and only trip there so far (finally got there this year), but having only been there once, I can't really include it in my top 5, although if it was closer it'd be!

With so many voting for Flemington it would seem like a company would do well if they built a duplicate speedway like Flemington...That place was like a carnival atmosphere...I also think New Egypt does ok because there is not a whole lot of choices left unless you use the high $$$ gas and travel...Just my opinion...HtH

Howie- You're a genius!  I know another "Flemington" would probably take up more real estate than the ovals we have in the northeast, BUT I'll bet a new Flemington, if operated by good management, would be a success.  If they build it, I personally would love to see a black 9C on the track.  Scott Ely
