Introducing the 3-Wide Salute Awards for the year 2023
I'm not sure if this has even been a topic, but with all the award events, I thought it would be neat to have awards for the racing circuit. Below are the topics. They can be for any racing event in 2023 only. Please feel free to add any:
1. Best Finish Award (closest or last-lap pass for example)
2. Most Entertaining Victory Lane Speech Award
3. Best Looking Race Car Award
4. Best looking Throw-back Race Car Award
5. Best Racing Event Award – regular points event
6. Best Special Show Award – non points event
7. Loudest Event by the Fans Award (where the fans were just plain loud and crazy)
8. Most Shocking Story Award (Driver leaving or joining Team)
9. Biggest Hard Luck Award (anything that happened to a driver in a race)
10. Biggest Upset Award (driver won an event that was not considered to be a factor)

I went to the 2 day WOO show at Williamsgrove this year where Logan Shuhart win on the last turn, last lap pass to win.And Rico Abreau won the next night and stopped in turn 3 by Beer Hill and got out and climbed up the fence to celebrate with the fans who went crazy. It was also the last time I'll see the walking bridge there. They took it down to be moved to EMMR. |

I think this would be better suited for maybe three items at a time spread out weekly over the next month. JMO |
