Sorry I can't invite some of the prior attendees to our suite at PPL Center Saturday night. Since the pandemic, strict limit of no more than 12 at any time and we are full with the usual suspects. If you walked into a professional office (my office in Downtown Allentown, Pa.) and saw this, would you pay extra or walk away? Finally, where do Matt and Stewy belong on the photo on the left? Happy New Year!

Maybe it's time for a new poster.

This is a very interesting subject. This framed picture hung on the wall in my fathers office for many years and it was always a topic of conversation. We would often debate the line up. obviouly Mat and Stew belong on the list but, where. If they come on a few greats will fall off. One change I've always thought should have been made if it were updated is Hearn (yes the GOAT) moves to number 1. I know that won't be well received but It is what it is. Happy New Year!

Anthony, I also move the 20 up to number 1 and I then have the 9S at 3 after Frankie. Stew is more difficult and is 'penalized' for his truck efforts, but if pressed, I slot him in afer Chamberlain.

Agree 100% Ed. Stew propably does do better if not for the Truck Series. I have to wonder if Billy Pauch should have been a bit higher on the list. The problem with moving him up is the bar is getting very high if you consider those top five.

BTW, that is the top 26 and there are two 9's and no 10.

Stew's numbers jump dramatically with five Super Dirt Week wins.  90% of those guys ran Super Dirt Week and only a handful have won it more than once.  Super Dirt Week always brought all the best together.

Somewhere on that list, Billy Decker should be added. A total of 18 Championships, Super Dirt Week winner, and over 318 wins.

Can not argue with that Kevin. I thought about that on my last post. Stew really needs to be in the top ten easy and probably top five. Those wins on the mile can not be ignored. He's also won some big races on small tracks as well.

Maybe there should be another poster with greatest Dirt Modified drivers of the post-Batmobile era.  It is truely hard to compare the modern era to the "stock from the junk-yard" era and the transition from car frame to center steer tube frames.  Very different driving styles and cars IMHO.

I think it could be split between old and new eras. Everything up until 1979 and everything from 80 on. In that case the two clear number ones should be Frankie and Brett.
