Santa brought me 3 books from Costal 181: Lazzaro- The Man and His Machines- left me feeling a little sad. Although Lou had great success, he lived a rough life. The Pfoffmer Offy: wonderful book that leaves you wanting more of the story of how the remains of the car were found and restored. I am not old enough to remember that era but I have certainly read about it in "The Dusty Heros" and in other historical articles. Still Racing by Ken Schrader: what can I say- it's good to be Ken Schrader! For you readers I would recommend all three. Now I need to spend my Visa Gift Card on the Billy Pauch book, the only one on my list Santa didn't bring! |

Steve, you must have been a real good boy in Santa's eyes in 2023! Santa stopped at Coastal 181 on behalf of my son to gift me with 500 on the Indy 500. You will thoroughly enjoy the Billy Pauch book. I agree with your comments on the Pfrommer Offy and Schrader books. |

I receive the Lazzaro book back in Nov. Good read. For Christmas, it was: Angela Savage - Almost done with it. Quite a read. Sammy - I'll dive into this next. |
