Having my old computer crash leaving most of my scanned photos irretrievable, I'm starting the process over so I figured while I was at it, I'd post a few as I go along. Please feel free to comment, it'll help to identify some of the more lesser known drivers.

Second photo, 1978 Islip 300.  Crazy, they pitted on the infield. Richie won, of course.  My brother and I were sitting just over the "t" and "o" in photo.

Martinsville 1980? 26 Kent, 58 Triechler, 0 Bob Mc Creadie ran a 0, but not sure if that's him,  52 Hewitt, 38 Cook, 76 Blewett, Orange Pinto?, Blue car maybe Wayne Anderson, 24 Jimmy Spencer.

Computer crashes suck, but anytime mine crashed, we were able to recover it.  There is a "geek" out there that can do it.

I wasn't sure of the year of the Islip race, but I knew it was prior to '79. I couldn't believe how close to the outside fence they allowed you to stand. For some of my shots, I was standing against the concrete wall outside turn 3! Unfortunately, that was my only visit there. 

 The Martinsville photo was taken the day Geoff and Richie crashed across the finish line. 

Active1 is Ray Bateman or perhaps Jimmy Horton.

I only went to Islip once myself. Early 80's. Cool little place. 

Photos I took with some parallax error.  Graduated parallax error to fuzzy foto!  lol

Didn't Gil Hearne drive that 10? And Evans pintos either had a flattened roof or a whole body rake, like no one else. 18x Greg Sacks

great photos , all !! i went to this islip race with the late harrt treacy-islip was something else 

as a racetrack --couldn't believe grand nationals ran there with a full field in the 1950's !!

That is really cool!!! Same photo, different angles.  One thing I learned, my brother took that photo. We were sharing a camera that day. That's me with the arrow. My brother Bill shooting. 

Actually, I think it happened once before with one of my pictures. It was 2 photos of Jamie Tomaino's pinto at Martinsville taken right around the same moment from a few feet apart.

This may be the earliest recorded fuzzy photo of the original "Fuzzy Photo".

LOL, had the "fro", only thing good about it, is, I still have the "fro" !  lol  Richie also won in 77.

Our crew guy "Slip" was proud of his new "disc camera". It was basically a 110 camera, but the film was a round flat disc. It took tiny pictures. I bet he still has them all.
