Just got around to reading last week's (1-23/24) issue of AARN and saw that Bruce Bowen's #93 John Andretti sprint car won best appearing vintage open cockpit car at this year's Motorpsorts show! CONGRATS BRUCE! Met Bruce for the first time when picking up Matheny School Christmas gifts from him in mid December.  Spent a good hour and a half talking racing with Bruce.  Felt like I had known him for years!  The "icing on the cake" of my visit was when Bruce took me to an enclosed trailer and showed me the Andretti #93!  Bruce did an amazing job in bringing the 93 back to life.  Not only is he an artist when it comes to his workmanship, but he is also a great guy!     Scott Ely  

Bruce and his wife Lynn are super people. Been great Matheny supporters for many years!  The car Bruce restored and the many restoartion cars he has lettered are amazing. Nothing worse than a restored car that gets lettered improperly. Bruce nails it every time !  Thanks Bruce for all your support and keeping the proper history of the sport alive.
