When I was looking at the thumbnail of this image, I thought it was Buddy Baker, but now that I can see it full size, I don't know who it is.  I think the picture is from Nazareth in the late 60's.  I don't know if it is a driver, track staff, or guest.

It says, "Atco Dragway" on his jacket:

Driver ID I dont know, but it's definitely the Nazareth 1/2 mile in the background when the pits were on the outside.

I'm not 100% sure but it really does look like famed drag racer Hayden Proffitt fron California. Here's a Grant ad from 1967.  He later ran an exhibition rocket drag car.  I recall seeing a 1964 photo provided by Russ Dodge of Proffitt storing his 1964 Super Stock Hemi Plymouth drag car in Elton Hildreth's shop in Vioneland (if memery serves) when Proffitt would come east while touring.  So there's a possible connection to Nazareth and of course Atco, NJ Dragway.
