I remember Vince running a # 41c Ford coupe in the limited sportsman division at Windsor back in the 60s.  He was known as "the Flying Baker".  Scott Ely

Vince was a superstar back in the 50's..At many local tracks they had a bounty posted for anyone to beat him...He drove A Grand National car for Garth Pitcairn on the NASCAR circuit..In the 70's at my garage in Morrisville, PA... Vince was a weekly visitor looking thru my used racing tires for sizes he could use...Vince would only take one or two no matter how many times I told him to take as many as he wanted...He would sit with me for an hour or so telling me stories about his racing days. Between Vince and Wally Marks I got quite an education in the art of car racing. Fred Menschner.

Fred-  Nothing like getting a "free" education, although your racing knowledge was pretty thorough.  Scott Ely (former Spec 4 at with the 50th Maintenance Battalion, Bordentown)

Scott, I could not pay for the education I received back in the day from people like Vince Cannizzaro, Wally Marks, Dave Piscope, Charley Ancello sr, Tom Carberry, Ralph Barrone, Carl (shaky) Hughes, Frank Kinsel and last but not least my partner in racing Ray Neary. Back in the 60's and 70's dirt track racing was sooooo secretively because you had do trial and error to found out what worked. Most racers had a hard time helping other racers, except those I mentioned above. I was soooo fortunate. Fred.
