Great photos! I'm probably 100% wrong but here are my guesses of some of the cars in photo #4. The 1st car is the Norcia 81 with Don Stives; the car right behind the 81 is Parker Bohn in the 659; The car on the extreme outside is Dave Hulse's #5; The next to the last car (a sedan) is Charlie Decker's 16; and the last car is Bob Finger in the 61. April 30, 1977 Joe Henry Thurman showed up at Wall and won in the Fred Burdge 57. I'm pretty sure that was a Treadway car that Joe ran down South. Joe was the 1968 National Sportsman Champion. Tony Siscone drove the 57 after Jim Ransome passed away. Tony won in the Ransome "0" car Saturday June 11, 1977 than Jim passed away that week. Driving the 57 probably got him in the Dick Barney 14. |
