Watching?, Attending?, Participating? I'm going to the GSVSCC Banquet on Sunday. Year after year, the banquet is a great event, and it makes you feel good to be involved in the sport at any level. Always great to see familiar faces and to meet new folks as well. As for watchin', I'm a little behind in my Flo Replay section. (Still have to finish up last weekend's Mini Gold Cup from Silver Dollar Speedway in CA - watched Friday's event which I enjoyed, and still have the 2nd night to watch yet.) Let us know if your weekend plans have any "racing" squeezed in, and maybe you'll inspire others to get out to a track, or tune into something they might have otherwised missed. |

F1 is in Australia. It's perfect, lights out at midnight on Saturday. Cup at COTA Sunday afternoon. Might hit Millbridge on Wednesday again but the weather don't look good. I said I need to skip doing the Wednesday night shows cuz I really paid for it last Thursday but I changed my stance. It's too good to pass up. |

It's looking like a washout this weekend in this area. I will probably flip on Nascar as background noise and also watch the NHRA Winternationals. |

Was planning on Bridgeport Saturday, but thanks to Don Wolfe, thats a no-go. Will probably catch aome action on FLO, also going to the GSVSCCC banquet this Sunday. |

The Indycars will be holding an exhibition event on the road course at the Thermal Club in California. Friday's open test sessions 12-2 and 5-8 are on Peacock. Saturday's open test sessions 12-2 and 4-6, followed by qualifying 8-8:45, are on Peacock. Sunday's coverage starts at 12:30 on both NBC and Peacock. Two heat races will be held followed by a 12-car "all-star" race. It is a non-points event for the series. |

Flo Lucas Oil Late Models Saturday Brownstown and Sunday Atomic (schedule change), COTA NASCAR Trucks 1:30 Saturday. GSVSCC Banquet Sunday. Inducting one of Wall Stadium's best engine builders, Frank Boardwick. His engines won 26 championships and some 300 races. Also, drivers Pete Britain, Phil Cox, owner Don Ling Sr., and Bobby Thomas award reipient, Vic Patty. |
