Hello everyone...I recently found my way back to 3 Wide's. I was just a big time fan and historian of Nazareth, Flemington and OCFS in the 70's and 80's, and followed 3 Wide's site here for many years. After a lengthy lung cancer battle from 2016 until 2018, I'm very fortunate to still be here. I was lucky enough to go into remission after immunotherapy in Philadelphia at Fox Chase and enjoy early retirement. In our quest to enjoy every day of this second lease on life, the wife and I decided to move to Florida. I found my way back to this website which was always the place for me to "get away from it all" and check out the pictures which always brought back memories of some of the best days and times of my life at the tracks.

Since moving here to Florida, I have made some trips to New Smyrna and Volusia County Speedways. These tracks will never be what I remember up in PA, NJ, and NY, but they are still pretty nice facilities and the racing was good at both tracks. 

I guess I just want to say I'm happy to see that this website is still going strong and thank you to all for sharing your memories and pictures right here!

I get it when you say that you come here to "Check out the pictures which always brought back memories of some of the best days and times of my life at the tracks."

Those that visit our site have that unique connection...  There's something about that time.... those nights at the racetrack, that are just too good to forget about. 

It might be difficult to explain to others, but for those reading this... I think you all know exactly what we're talking about, because you feel the same way too.

So true. You had to have been there and lived through those wonderful,unforgettable times! No one else would understand.

Thank goodness all went well!  To overcome those struggles is monumental.  Welcome back, not much has changed other than some more grey hair!  Look forward to your contributions. 

Welcome home !! Glad that all is going better for you . And yes , others cannot understand the great times and experiences we grew up in with auto racing of that era .

Glad your back and doing well. I know what you mean as I had a virus that took mean from running on a soccer field on a Monday to being in a wheel chair on Wednesday unable to walk. By the grace of God I am fine now but it took me a year to be a able to walk and run again. it brings home that Tim Mc Graw song Live like you are dying for sure . For all you guys here hug your family and friends, eat ice cream when ever you can and be grateful for every day you can get out of bed and take a deep breath on your own . Don't sweat the small stuff as it is all small stuff.
