ARRA Begins Agreements to Supply Historical Stats to Track/Series Websites
Three Tracks Signes up Already
Ringoes,NJ – Always looking for new ways to utilize their groups dedication to documenting the history of our sport of auto racing, the historians of ARRA – Auto Racing Research Associates, have begun to offer out the work involved in their tedious research to a number of tracks and racing series’ that qualify to be made the offer of having their tracks statistics made available on that tracks/series’.
“I’ve been concentrating towards track history research for a number of years now.” Remarks ARRA President Fred Voorhees. “And the results of all of the track research is now reaping great benefits to the group of over 40 historians and the racing public at large. I have had a few of our historians remark how much quicker and easier it is now for driver research to be done now that more and more tracks are fully documented thanks to the ARRA Research. Over the past couple of months…I have been thinking of adding another first for ARRA in its still young history. I did some investigating and it turns out that I have identified a total of almost twenty either track or traveling series that have maintained websites and we have substantial files of stats on their track or series.”
At this point…three tracks have agreed to take ARRA up on the offer. Airborne Park and Devils Bowl Speedway Promoter Mike Bruno has agreed to have ARRA take up a small space on each tracks website to allow fans to keep up with all of the latest details happening at their home track by linking to that tracks webpage on the ARRA website. There, the fan can access the statistical files for that track. Bruno’s websites are still in the process of adding the links needed. As well, the legendary Land of Legends Speedway…formally known as Canandaigua Speedway, has already added the link to the speedways website. “Land of Legends PR person Tana Robinson was very helpful and encouraged with and about the entire idea of giving fans direct access to the Land of Legends ARRA page to give them the latest statistics…updated weekly.” Voorhees announced today.
“We look forward to hearing from any of the other tracks and or series’ that we have sent out communications to, to advise them of our offer.” Fred mentioned…”I hope that more and more tracks will see the positives of this free offering from ARRA.” Voorhees ended with.
