Get well soon my friend!!!  Saw in Area Auto Greg had a procedure and will miss some time at Wall early this year. Greg is the patriarch of a great racing family who have been officiating and working in motorsports for a long time.  Kyle McGowan, his son is a flagger for many series living in North Carolina. you see him on many Flo broadcasts. Glenn McGowan, his son, is a spotter of multiple diversities including Nascar and Indy car.  GREAT FAMILY and proud to call them friends.

In addition to Greg's sons, Greg's father Joe McGowan was a flagger for many years as well.

Wall's opener is on April 20th, and I'm sure that Greg will be doing what he can to get back to the track as soon as he can.  Hoping to see you there Greg as soon as you are able.

Get well soon Greg.  I went through the same thing in November. CABG x 4.  Cardiac rehab was a huge help. Went back to my first race Saturday at Port Royal.  Felt great to be back.
