Until NEWS becomes organized, like a group like MASS. Your going have scheduling problems like this, with week fields at both places. |

Wasn't URC founded in 1948 as a working man's club? Hindsight is 20/20. URC could have became the nations premier 305 Sprint Club if they only jumped on that bandwagon early enough. Same with ARDC. They could have changed over to a 1600cc chain driven Mini Sprint class. Would have saved the car owners boo Koo big bucks |

Bridgeport had 9 NEWS competitors last week for a paying event.OCFS had 10 show up for a practice. |

Accord Speedway not too far from OCFS, started the class at the same time New Egypt did. It's a shame these tracks can not use different dates for the same few cars. Originally New Egypt had the Street Stocks on Saturday's card. The Schedule does not show them now. They also added Mass 305 Sprint Cars and Match races. So, there will be no Real Steel Bonus this weekend, no Street Stocks, plus the crates raced on Friday night, and instead, we will get match races. It will be probably another 4-hour plus show..... |
