George Schaefer in the 36 Coupe.  It could be. Jerry was on to a Vega by then. I know Joe Hurley had that car later.

Gotta love that tunnel ram scoop on the X-6!! I can’t recall anyone else trying that. File it under “I’ll try anything to squeeze the last bit of horsepower out of this thing”.

I remember Eddie Moench saying that the viability was better with that scoop. Speaking of scoops, Eddie always had the latest scoop on everything. RIP

They got rid of it because it forced too much air into the carburetor, washing the fuel through the cylinders.
