Gotta love that tunnel ram scoop on the X-6!! I can’t recall anyone else trying that. File it under “I’ll try anything to squeeze the last bit of horsepower out of this thing”. |

I remember Eddie Moench saying that the viability was better with that scoop. Speaking of scoops, Eddie always had the latest scoop on everything. RIP |

They got rid of it because it forced too much air into the carburetor, washing the fuel through the cylinders. |
