"Wide Open" is a WBCB 1490 AM radio/internet show that is broadcasted live on Wednesday from 5pm - 6pm, with hosts Nick Leach and Fred Fletcher. I'm hearing that there might be a familiar voice on tonight's show... As they say in the business, "Stay Tuned".... or in this case, tune in at 5pm! To listen, open the link below and then click on "Listen Live" in the upper right: Wide Open with Nick Leach & Fred Fletcher |

The radio show is entitled "Open Wednesday" and can also be found on Youtube. I dialed up last night's show (11/20) on Youtube and found it very entertaining and informative. Nick Leach is excellent as co-host. Fred Fletcher owns a auto repair business in Levittown. Pa. I thought I had a pretty good handle on the history of New Jersey's speedways. One of last night's guests holds a record that I was aware of. Its not my place to brag or state that record on his behalf so, if he is "tuning into 3Wide", maybe he'll enlighten we 3Widers as to his past accomplishment regarding that record. A little history on WBCB. It operates out of the Levittown, Pa area and was, and maybe still is, owned by Phila Eagles announcer Merrill Reese. Scott Ely |

Its ironic that I was in the Levittown area yesterday afternoon and saw this beautiful (I'm guessing) vintage dirt car. And where did I see this beauty but at Fred Fletcher's Garage. Fred being the co-host "Wild Open Wednesday". I listened to the show later last night. Scott Ely ![](/UserImageUploads/33/yLZgTt0oBj1KR8exvMiA.jpg)

Looks like the same hot rod to me. Was the 130 a tribute car to Johnny Leach? I believe John used the # 130 on his early racers as he worked at Quality Auto Body, located on Rt.130 in Burlington, NJ. Scott Ely |
