Thank you again for the photos.

Finally got a 7A photo up there.  Thank you.

Question: 

 I was told that the A in the car numbers used to mean the car was running alchohol?

Was that a track requirement or the teams wanting the safety guys to know what they were dealing with in case of a fire?

Note: The A on theTurf Farm car represented the Seven A__holes that worked on the car.  From a time when racers were having a blast.

I'm not sure about the A in the number meaning alcohol. From what I recall, drivers who were running alcohol had an "A" sticker on their car like the one shown in this picture.

photo 2 ? check out the aframe suspension on that car 

photo 3 is Chic Cossabone in car 7A 

photo 5 could be Bob Little in car 25 looks like John Giacobbe in car M1 

Tom - i thought the A sticker on the cars was to let the fire crew car was running alchohol.
