Paved Modified Star Reggie Ruggiero Joins ARRA Driver Roster!!!

Ringoes,NJ – Few drivers in the Northeast corner of the country can boast of a more impressive list of paved track modified success than the legendary Reggie Ruggiero!  ARRA, Auto Racing Research Associates, a group of over 40 auto racing historians can now boast that they have within their ever growing files of auto racing statistics...the researched and documented list of the success of the Rocky Hill, Connecticutt native before he moved South superstar!

“Historians Nicky Teto and John DaDalt really outdid themselves on this one!” ARRA President Fred Voorhees excitedly claimed when releasing the groups latest driver research project.  “Nicky and John teamed up to nail down Reggies career.  I wasn’t aware of their tag team effort on the project, and then Nicky called me up about a week ago and let me know that this one was coming down the pike.”

Voorhees says its one of the big ones!  “Well, at least to me it is!” he confesses. “Reggie Ruggiero was a name that you were constantly seeing in the headlines of the racing papers back in the 70’s 80’s and 90’s and that was a window of time when racing, at least in my opinion...was enjoying its zenith of popularity.  Thus...it made the names of the heroes back in that era...bigger than life.  I am thrilled...really thrilled to be adding Reggies profile to our growing list of drivers who thrilled us on the weekends!”

Monadnock Speedway Gets Page on the ARRA Website!!

Ringoes,NJ – Still another speedway here in the Northeast will have its complete historay documented from this point forward, thanks to ARRA historian Nicky Teto.  Teto is one of over forty auto racing historians, spread across the USA and into Canada, who have banded together to be a force in researching and documenting, hard, cold facts and statistics regarding a multitude of different auto racing subjects.

“ Nicky is one of my most ardent historians.” Fred mentioned as he began to get the news of the Monadnock additon to their site that now boasts over 600 subjects.  “Nicky has his hands in lots of stuff up his way further up the Eastern coast.  He is one of my upper Northeast paved modified vets.  The Monadnock Speedway opened in 1971 and Nicky put his nose to the grindstone on this project and while, yes, there are areas of missing data….basically, I would say he has probably captured 97% of all of the events held there since Bill Brown took a gravel pit and converted it into a speedway.  The track is located in Winchester, New Hampshire and is widely known by its nickname….”Mad Dog”.”
